Sagebrush & Vine is inviting 8–12 Christian leaders to experience, strengthen, and help guide the first national release of Faith-Aligned Mindset, a Scripture-rooted formation experience created for leaders and the cultures they serve.

Christian leaders carry extraordinary responsibility. They care for people, steward institutions, navigate conflict, respond to change, and make decisions that affect entire communities. Yet even experienced and faithful leaders can find themselves leading from exhaustion, self-doubt, fear, or a diminished sense of calling.
Sagebrush & Vine envisions a growing movement of Christian leaders who are anchored in truth, clear in their calling, resilient in adversity, and equipped to cultivate healthy, mission-driven cultures. Through Faith-Aligned Mindset, we aim to place practical, faith-integrated tools in the hands of leaders whose decisions shape hundreds and thousands of lives. Renew the leader. Introducing the Leadership Renewal Council
The Leadership Renewal Council is a 6-month learning, prayer, and feedback cohort for Christian leaders who want to help strengthen the national release of Faith-Aligned Mindset.
Council members will experience the formation themselves, share candid feedback, pray alongside the Sagebrush & Vine team, and help ensure the program produces meaningful and lasting results for leaders in parishes, schools, dioceses, ministries, and Christian organizations.
Introducing Faith-Aligned Mindset™
Faith-Aligned Mindset™ is a 11-part leadership resilience and formation experience developed by Chris Scaffidi and Dr. Jake Finifrock, drawing upon decades of experience in professional development, organizational coaching, ministry, and faith leadership.
The program integrates ancient, time-honored biblical truth and state-of-the-art cognitive science to help Christian leaders understand how their beliefs, thought patterns, internal language, and perceptions influence how they lead.
Participants move through a practical rhythm of:
Education — What do Scripture and science teach us about the mind?
Reflection — What might God be inviting us to notice?
Action — What must we start, stop, or continue actively doing to ensure our lives and work are in greater alignment, to ensure the success of our respective missions?
The inaugural cohort of the Faith-Aligned Mindset will be offered at a very special reduced rate of $750. The first online cohort will begin in November 2026.

Sustain them in their calling, and remind them that they do not carry their responsibilities alone. Give wisdom, humility, and courage to the leaders developing Faith-Aligned Mindset. Help them listen well and place these tools into the hands of those who need them.

Faith-Aligned Mindset™ creates space to examine the thought patterns that shape how you respond to pressure, relate to others, and live out your calling.
In this online cohort, you’ll explore biblical truth alongside insights from cognitive science. Through reflection and conversation with fellow Christian leaders, you’ll learn to recognize limiting beliefs, practice more intentional thinking, and build habits that support resilience and purposeful leadership.
You’ll leave with practical tools to:
Align your mindset with your mission
Respond to challenges with greater clarity and courage
Reconnect with your God-given identity and calling
Create a personal plan for continued growth
Join us online in November and December 2026 to begin leading from a renewed mind.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Leadership Renewal Council a governing board?
No. The Council is a formation, prayer, and feedback cohort. Members participate as trusted early collaborators but do not assume governance or fiduciary responsibilities.
Who developed Faith-Aligned Mindset?
The curriculum was developed by Chris Scaffidi, MA and Dr. Jake Finifrock, drawing on their experience in professional development, organizational coaching, ministry leadership, and faith-based formation.
Is the program only for Catholic leaders?
No. Faith-Aligned Mindset™ is designed for Christian leaders across a range of denominational and organizational settings. Examples, language, and delivery can be tailored to fit the participating community.
What formats are available?
The primary individual format is an online cohort beginning in November 2026, which costs $750. For organizations there is a two-day in-person workshop. One-day, three-day, hybrid, tailored virtual, and open-cohort formats may also be available.
What does the organizational workshop include?
It includes advance planning, contextual tailoring, facilitation by two workshop leaders, participant workbooks, Growth Trellis™ materials, and participation for up to 20 leaders.
How much time does Council participation require?
Beyond completing the Faith-Aligned Mindset™ experience, members should plan for four 60-minute prayer and update sessions, occasional questions from the development team, and time to provide thoughtful feedback and a post-program reflection.
When will applicants be notified?
Applicants for the inaugural Council will be notified in advance of the November 2026 cohort start.
What happens if I am not selected?
Qualified applicants may still participate in an organizational workshop or virtual cohort. They may also be considered for future councils, cohorts, or advisory opportunities.
Must I already be experiencing burnout?
No. The program is not limited to leaders in crisis. It is also designed for faithful leaders who want to deepen their resilience, clarify their calling, strengthen how they lead, and cultivate healthier organizational cultures.
Renewal starts within. It does not have to start alone.
